In January-February 2017, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 293,600 t of cargo (-22.6%, year-on-year), the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products climbed by 13.6% to 106,100 t, ferrous metal – by 61% to 12,400 t. Coal transshipment fell by 6.1% to 75,600 t, grain – by 45.4% to 71,600 t.
Exports declined by 24.8% to 173,500 t, short-sea traffic – by 26.2% to 106,100 t while imports surged 2.9 times to 13,900 t.
In the 2-month period, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 83 arrivals and 73 departures against 96 arrivals and 90 departures in January-February 2016.
