“Multipurpose Reloading Complex, LLC” (MRC, the company of UCL Holding) operating in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) says it has spent 23.1 mln roubles for the development of its production capacities since the beginning of 2017, which is by 41% more than during the same period of last year.
The main funds – 22.8 mln rbls – have been spent for technical upgrade of the terminal. For instance, in order to optimize operating procedures and carry out loading-discharge activities MRC bought two material handlers LIEBHERR with clamshells of 2.5m3 capacity each. Also, the company transferred the advance payment for four additional clamshell attachments LIEBHERR GM 20B 2.5m3 each. The new equipment will ensure trouble-free handling of loose cargoes at the terminal.
Besides, in the 1st quarter of this year MRC spent 0.3 mln rbls for topographical survey performed for the purpose of design and construction of the new railway yard.
“Multipurpose Reloading Complex”, LLC (the company of UCL Port – stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) – cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad region, specializing in accepting, storage and export/import shipments of general and bulk cargoes. The main cargo is export power coal. In 2016 the turnover of “MRC”, LLC amounted to 4.5 mln tons of cargoes.
