Passenger Port of St. Petersburg welcomed 5 cruise ships last week
Passenger port of St. Petersburg says it received 5 cruise ships with 11 528 passengers on May 1-7. The total berth time of the ships is 8 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 34 069.
Services provided to ships:
Fresh water bunkering – 449 m3
Garbage collection – 90 m3
Waste-waters reception – 661 m3
In the indicated period 1 helicopter has used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.
On May 2nd at the Passenger port of St. Petersburg the opening ceremony of summer cruise season took place. The Ceremony was attended by the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, representatives of St. Petersburg Gouvernment, FSBI "The Administration of the Baltic sea ports",state control authorities , LLC "INFLOT Worldwide Rus" and authorized tour operator MIR travel company.
On May 3rd representatives of Passenger port St Petersburg arranged a visit and conducted an introductory tour for representatives of the Council of War veterans, Labor, Armed Forces of the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg. During the tour the visitors had a chance to learn the history and see the infrastructure of the Port.
On May 4th cruise ship MSC Fantasia operated by MSC Cruises has made its maiden call to Passenger port of St. Petersburg.
Maximum number of vessels at the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg this week - 2 vessels on May 6th and 7th.
