Hapag-Lloyd hikes Ocean Tariff rate for East Asia to Europe / Africa trade
In a continued effort to provide high level service and uninterrupted liner services and equipment supply, Hapag-Lloyd plans to increase Ocean Tariff rate for all non-DG cargoes for standard container types on the westbound trade from East Asia (including Japan) to Europe North Continent and Mediterranean, the liner company said in a press release.
Valid for sailings commencing on June 1, 2017 onwards and until further notice, Hapag-Lloyd’s Ocean Tariff rate from East Asia (including Japan) to Europe North Continent and West Mediterranean will be:
- USD 1200 per 20' Container
- USD 2300 per 40' Container
- USD 2400 per 40' High Cube Container
Valid for sailings commencing on June 1, 2017 onwards and until further notice, Hapag-Lloyd’s Ocean Tariff rate from East Asia (including Japan) to East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa will be:
- USD 1750 per 20' Container
- USD 3400 per 40' Container
- USD 3500 per 40' High Cube Container
Ocean tariff rates for other container types on this trade remain unchanged and can be found on the shipping company's website. These base rates are subject to conditions and surcharges.
