Forces and troops of RF Navy’s Caspian Flotilla conducted more than 500 combat elements during winter training period, says press center of RF Defence Ministry. This exceeds results of the previous year by two times.
Ship groupings held about 80 exercises and course tasks. The forces conducted missile and artillery firing elements against naval, coastal, and air targets as well as about 130 mine action elements and anti-submarine exercises.
In total, about 1,000 servicemen and about 200 pieces of combat and special hardware were involved.
