Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS Russia) says it took into consideration the findings of FAS Commission on the activities of stevedoring companies at the seaports of Russia and decided to work together with ad hoc executive authorities on further elaboration of measures for raising the rent on state port infrastructure up to the fair market level.
Having studied the materials provided by the Commission, FAS Russia have paid attention to low rental rates when it comes to state port infrastructure being used by private companies.
FAS Russia believes this policy can be inconsistent with state interests, lead to reduction of budget income from the use of such property.
