JSC “Vostochny Port”, the largest Russian coal stevedore and a member of the port coal holding “Managing Port Company, LLC, reported that the Nakhodka Municipal District was given a 6,3 million rubles sponsorship to acquire a street sweeper within the framework of the Social and Economic Partnership Agreement of 2017.
The Administration of the Nakhodka Municipality District will utilize the money to purchase a KAMAZ vacuum street cleaner “Vikhr” КО-318.
The sweeping vehicle will remove dust, sand, gravel and leaves fr om the streets. The operation cycle includes sweeping, loading debris into a bunker and self-dumping on disposal grounds. The machine can operate in either wet or dry cleaning modes and can be adapted with accessories for cleaning the streets in winter. According to the technical data, cleaning efficiency is as as high as 95%.
“The sweeping truck will be used for cleaning the street and road network and neighborhood driveways in Vrangel settlement, wh ere most of the employees of “Vostochny Port” live. The acquisition of the street cleaner is one of a range of improvement measures for “Vostochny Port” place of business”, – commented Anatoly Lazarev, Managing Director of JSC “Vostochny Port”.
It should be noted that “Vostochny Port” has already been using the vacuum cleaner on its own premises for more than two years, and it has proved to be effective.
The port coal holding “Managing Port Company, LLC” and JSC “Vostochny Port”, a member of this holding, noted that they are ready and willing to continue their involvement in socially significant projects of the Nakhodka Municipal District.
