Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg welcomes inaugural call of cruise ship Mein Schiff 6
Today, on June 23rd, cruise ship Mein Schiff 6 operated by TUI Cruises has made her Inaugural call to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg, the port says in a press release.
Mein Schiff 6 was built in 2017 by TUI Cruises at Meyer Werft, Turku, Finland. She has sister-ships - Mein Schiff 3,4 and 5. Сhristening ceremony was held on June 2nd, 2017 in Hamburg, Germany. Mein Schiff 6 was christened by Latvian organist Iveta Apkalna.
With a length of around 294 meters, Mein Schiff 6 has 15 decks and the capacity to carry up to 2534 passengers in 1250 cabins. The ship offers theatre, open swimming pools sport courts and a wide choice of restaurants.
TUI Cruises is a German cruise line, owned by a tourist firm TUI Group and operator Royal Caribbean Cruises. The company was founded in 2008. It operates 6 – ships fleet. The concept is for German-speaking customers who opt for premium cruise experience.
Traditionally a welcome plaque ceremony was arranged on board the vessel.
Mein Schiff 6 will make the next call at the Port on July, 3rd, during the Baltic cruise.
