RasGas makes milestone 500th LNG cargo delivery to Edison at the Adriatic LNG Terminal
RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) celebrated the 500th liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo delivery to its long term customer, Edison, under the Long Term Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) signed between Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company (II) and Edison in November 2003, for deliveries of 4.6 million tonnes (or 6.4 billion standard cubic metres) of LNG per year.
Edison says RasGas’ LNG tanker, Al Areesh, delivered the cargo on July 1st, 2017 at the Adriatic LNG Terminal located in the northern Adriatic Sea, about 15 kilometres off the Veneto coastline in Italy.
