In January-June 2017, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 1.19 t of cargo (+27.2%, year-on-year), the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of coal grew by 33.4% to 383,200 t, grain — by 14% to 382,000 t, ferrous metal – up 3.4 times to 88,100 t while transshipment of oil products declined by 2.1% to 237,400 t.
Exports grew by 34.8% to 885,800 t, imports – 5.1 times to 54,000 t. Short-sea traffic dropped by 5.9% to 257,600 t.
In the 6-month period, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 346 arrivals and 334 departures versus 285 arrivals and 268 departures in January-June 2016.
