Nobel Brothers Shipyard LLC says it launched the floating crane ПК-226 of Project Р12М(К27Р) on 21 July 2017 having completed emergency repair of the vessel’s hull.
Key characteristics of the ПК-226: gross capacity - 266 t, deadweight – 51.9 t, displacement - 267 t, LOA – 45.85 m, length on the designed water-line – 28.6 m, BOA – 12.01 m, breadth on the designed water-line – 11.8 m, depth – 2.5 m.
The ПК-226 was built in 1971 by Svir Shipyard.
Nobel Brothers Shipyard LLC based in Rybinsk of Russia was founded in 1907. Today, this is the largest shipbuilding firm in the Upper Volga: the yard encompasses 214,000 sq. km, the company's workforce is 500 employees.
