Trest Godromontazh JSC will reconstruct hydraulic engineering structures of Vogograd river port for RUB 206.6 mln (photo)

Municipal contract has been signed for reconstruction of hydraulic engineering structures at river port of Volgograd. The winner of the online auction is a Moscow company Trest Godromontazh JSC , says press center of the Volgograd Region Construction Committee.

The reconstruction will be held in the framework of a large scale project on development of the Central Embankment Named after 62^nd Army (Volgograd). 

The project covers reconstruction of the existing quay wall (berths No 10-15) of the passenger port. The section exceeding 825 m is adjacent to the passenger terminal building.

The municipal contract provides for repair and partial reinforcement of passenger berth structures.

The project is financed by the federal, regional and local budgets. The works are estimated at RUB 206.6 mln with the federal budget to cover 80% of total costs.

The construction works are to be completed by the end of 2017.

Another phase of Central Embankment reconstruction in Volgograd is also to be implemented this year. It will include reconstruction of electrical network. Online competition to select a contractor is underway.
