A bulk cargo carrier which ran aground July 29, 11:30 (UTC+11:30) on the 202 km stretch of the Volga in Konakovsky district of Tver Oblast, was refloated and proceeded to Tver, the regional EMERCOM press office said.
Overall, 39 people and six vessels participated in the salvage operation, including three specialists and equipment of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.
No injuries were reported. There was no obstruction to river traffic along the stretch.
