The Board of Directors of Narimanov, Astrakhan region based JSC Lotos Shipyard (part of CNRG Group, a division of United Shipbuilding Corp.) at a meeting August 2 slated the Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders for October 11, 2017, the shipbuilding firm said in a press release.
The EGM's agenda will include two issues: the early termination of the term of office of the members of the Board of Directors of Lotos Shipyard and election the members to the BoD.
JSC Lotos Shipyard operates two shipyards in the Astrakhan region specializing in the construction of modules of topsides for offshore platforms, outfitting and repair of hulls of different types of vessels. Since 2012 the shipbuilding company is managed by United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC). The Lotos Shipyard's main shareholders are USC, CNRG Group and the Government of the Astrakhan region.
