Throughput of port Vyborg up 6% to 755,500 t in 7M’17
In January-July 2017, the port of Vyborg handled 755,500 t of cargo (+6%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo grew by 11% to 675,700 t including 256,500 t of coal and coke (-1%) and 282,200 t of mineral fertilizers (-10%) with other dry bulk cargo showing an increase (up 3.7 times).
Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo dropped by 61% to 13,000 t.
Transshipment of general cargo climbed by 13% to 38,300 t with metal scrap falling by 20% to 5,100 t, packaged cargo growing by 18% to 39,200 t and other general cargo showing an increase.
In 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 1.38 mln t of cargo (-11%, year-on-year).
