Severodvinsk nuclear submarine of the Northern Fleet carried out missile firing
Today, the Severodvinsk multidimensional nuclear submarine of the Northern Fleet has fired the Kalibr sea-based cruise missile, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The submarine crew performed the firing from submerged position at a Northern Fleet range in the Barents Sea. The missile was aimed at the Chizha range located in the Arkhangelsk region.
The distance to the target was nearly 600 kilometers. According to objective monitoring data, the missile hit the target.
The Severodvinsk crew demonstrated professionalism and high level of training.
