From 04th to 10th of September Passenger Port of St. Petersburg received 10 cruise ships which brought 16 013 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 21 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 73 227.

In the indicated period 6 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.
On 5th of September Passenger port of St. Petersburg again has received 7 cruise ships. During the Baltic Sea cruise the vessels have brought 14 215 passengers abroad. During 2017 cruise season Saga Sapphire has made its first call and other vessels have already made 61 calls at the Port.
On September 7th representatives of "PP SPb MF" PLC took part in the international forum "Water tourism". Within the framework of the working session "Sea cruise tourism: from the acceptance of tourists to the creation of their own routes", the Port representative spoke about the projects implemented on the initiative of the Administration of St. Petersburg together with "PP SPb MF" PLC within the framework of the establishment of proper Center for International Cruise Tourism in Saint Petersburg, including the organization of the ‘turnaround port’ project and completion of cruises on the basis of the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg, the implementation of a project to establish a regional shipping company, and noted the need for centralized management of existing cruise terminals in the city and the creation of a modern river port in St. Petersburg.
