DAMEN Shipyards Group (the Netherlands) has presented new designs of fishing ships for the Russian market, IAA PortNews correspondent reports from the Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo in Saint-Petersburg (14 – 16 September 2017).
Among the designs is a series of 60-metre long boats for catching crabs (crab catcher 60), a series of 100-metre factory trawlers (factory trawler 100) and a series of 60-metre longliners (longliner 60).
Damen Shipyards Group (with its Head Office in Gorinchem, the Netherlands) operates 40 ship- and repair yards employing 9,000 people worldwide. Damen has delivered more than 6,000 vessels in more than 100 countries and delivers approximately 160 vessels annually to customers worldwide.
