Krylov State Research Center says it took part in the 13th RAO/CIS Offshore held from 12 to 15 September in St. Petersburg. This international conference & exhibition has set its foot as a traditional bi-annual event focused on the development of oil and gas resources, attracting representatives of oil & gas majors from Russia and abroad for many years already. RAO/CIS Offshore 2017 spanned a broad spectrum of issues of immediate interest to the offshore industry community striving for efficient development of offshore oil and gas reservoirs. Special emphasis was put on safety aspects of hydrocarbons production in Arctic and Continental Shelf.
Krylov showcases at the exhibition were a multi-purpose salvage lifting vessel and a shallow-draft supply vessel for Arctic waters. Krylov Centre also took an active part in the business program by presenting papers in six round-tables addressing hot issues of oil and gas field construction in Arctic and Continental Shelf waters, production methods and technologies, development of modern fleet for oil and gas transportation by sea, power-generation infrastructure for tapping resources in the Russian Arctic, industrial and environmental safety of Continental Shelf development.
