American Roll-on Roll-off Carrier (ARC) has announced new service for Household Goods (HHG) to and from Italy. The notice to the trade from ARC’s HHG sales agent Pasha follows hereunder.
The service will be via the port of Antwerp with shipments trucked to and from the port of Venice. Transit times will be competitive with container services.
This will be a full US flag routing. The first sailing from CONUS will be the M/V Resolve UB724 sailing from Galveston on October 7th. ETA into Venice will be November 7th.
The ARC Italy service is currently only available for Northern Italy shipments. ARC expects to offer service to the Port of Naples in the near future, covering shipments to and from Southern Italy.
