Passenger Port of St. Petersburg welcomed one cruise ship last week

From 25th of September to 01st of October Passenger Port of St. Petersburg received 1 cruise ship which brought 2 297 passengers. According to the port, the total berth time of the ship is 1 ship-day, total amount of passenger operations – 4 478. 

Services provided to ships:
Fresh water bunkering – 0 m3
Garbage collection – 0 m3
Waste-waters reception – 0 m3

In the indicated period 3 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.

On September 27th within the framework of cooperation between “PP SPb MF” PLC and Hamina-Kotka region, representatives of the city administration, as well as representatives of Cursor Oy and SC Alekseev`s Hydrofoil design bureau paid an official visit to the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg. The official meeting was devoted to a number of topical issues on the regular water communication development between the cities of Kotka and St. Petersburg in the framework of the cooperation agreement between “PP SPb MF” PLC, Port Hamina-Kotka and the company Cursor Oy.

On September 28th within the framework of cooperation between “PP SPb MF” PLC and the port of Kotka, the Kotka Port Authority visited Passenger Port of St. Petersburg. During the business meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of the joint action of the South-East Finland-Russia CBC 2014-2020 Programme.

On 29th of September a grand welcoming ceremony and the anniversary celebration of the legendary training ship «Mir» was held at Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg.  The event was attended by the management of “PP SPb MF” PLC, representatives of St. Petersburg City government, FSUE "Rosmorport", Rosmorrechflot, heads of marine industry enterprises, as well as leading marine educational institutions. With the arrival of the “Mir” sailboat to St. Petersburg, 131 cadets of Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping completed the training practice.

On September 30th a solemn event of Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping Institute of International transport management - "Freshman initiation" took place at Passenger port of St. Petersburg. This is the third solemn ceremony, which was held in the most marine geographical point of the city – at Passenger Port of St. Petersburg.
