The Federal Treasury Institution “Directorate of the state customer for realization of the Federal target program “Modernization of transport system of Russia” established in 2002 facilitated investments into the transport system of the country, IAA PortNews correspondent cite Igor Levitin, Aide to the President of Russia, as saying today, 4 October 2017, at the ceremony dedicated to the Institution’s 15th anniversary.
When speaking at the ceremony, Igor Levitin emphasized that transport infrastructure projects are “entering a new level of development, especially with Asia”.
Since 2017 was declared The Year of Ecology, RosTransModernizatsiya held an environmental activity – planting of trees at the territory of Russian Railways, partner of the Institution.
The Federal Treasury Institution “Directorate of the state customer for realization of the Federal target program “Modernization of transport system of Russia” (FTI RosTransModernizatsiya) is a non-profit organization and is under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation according to the Government decree of the Russian Federation No. 1752-R dd. 31.12.2004. It acts as the state customer and provides effective and targeted use of budgetary funds and funds from non-budgetary sources in accordance with the priorities stated in the Federal target program.
The following types of activity are carried out by this institution: implementing of current management of the Federal target program "Development of Transport System of Russia (2010-2020)" (the FTP); acting as the state customer within the framework of implementation of investment projects included into the subprogram of the FTP "Transport Services Export Development”; acting as the state customer in the course of realization of research works within the framework of the subprogram "Transport Services Export Development" and the overarching policy arrangements of the FTP; acting as the center for public-private partnership (PPP) of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, development of proposals concerning attraction of extra-budgetary funds to projects on creation and development of transport infrastructure, preparing and implementation of projects on PPP basis.
