In January-September 2017, port Kavkaz handled 30.39 mln t of cargo (+32%, year-on-year), Harbour Master of port Kavkaz Yevgeny Tuzinkevich told IAA PortNews.
Off-harbour transshipment complex handled 9.940 mln t of cargo (+14%, year-on-year).
Transshipment of oil cargo fell by 10% to 9.588 mln t while transshipment of dry bulk cargo grew 2.2 times to 13.168 mln t including 10.087 mln t of grain (up 2.9 times). Transshipment of oil products dropped by 10% to 9.241 mln t, LPG – by 31% to 88,000.
Exports from port Kavkaz grew 2 times to 639,000 t, imports – by 6% to 75,000 t, coastal trade cargo – by 40% to 19.502 mln t.
Passenger turnover declined by 5% to 4,886,253 passengers.
Bunker sales at the port dropped by 33% to 240,000 t.
The number of calls climbed by 3% to 21,694 calls.
