Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service approves acquisition of 100-pct share of Yakutsk Port by Osetrovsky River Port JSC

Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has considered the application of Osetrovsky River Port JSC for a transaction to acquire 100-pct share in the authorized capital of Holding Company “Yakutsk River Port” LLC. FAS Russia says it approves the transaction.

Having completed the transaction, Osetrovsky River Port JSC will obtain a right of indirect control of the following companies’ shares: 100-pct share of the authorized capital of River Port “Yakutsk” LLC; 100-pct share of the authorized capital of Shipping Company “Vilyui” LLC; 100-pct share of the authorized capital of Shipping Company “Yakutsk” LLC; 25-pct share of the authorized capital of Stroy-Blok LLC.

Holding Company “Yakutsk River Port” LLC is running seven companies involved in transportation of cargoes and passenger in the Lena river basin between the Osetrovo and Zhigansk ports (Yakutia), as well as processing and storage of cargo at the port terminals.

Osetrovsky River Port OJSC (Starway Group) and Rechservis LLC constitute the largest logistic center on the Lena river for transporting of cargoes to the northern areas of the Irkutsk Region, Sakha Rebublic (Yakutia) and other areas on the Arctic coast from Khatanga to Kolyma. In the navigation season of 2016 the port handled 778,000 t of cargo (+18%, year-on-year).

Starway Group comprises Osetrovsky River Port OJSC, Osetrovskaya Shipping Company LLC, Rechservis LLC, Lenskaya Cargo Company LLC, Starway-Logistics LLC and AllianceAutoGroup.
