In January-September 2017, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 39.48 mln t of cargo (+10%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products grew by 13% to 5.41 mln t, dry bulk cargo – climbed by 17% to 6.48 mln t, general cargo – up 2% to 89.29 t, transshipment of Ro-Ro cargo – up 70% to 886,900 t.
The port’s container throughput increased by 9.6% to 1.42 mln TEUs.
In 2016, the port handled 48.62 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.74 mln TEUs.
