By the order the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin the business of two state-owned enterprises, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise National Fish Resources (FSUE NATSRYBRESURS) and the FSUE Kaliningrad Sea Fishing Port will be merged. The order the was signed on October 30, 2017 and the merger is effective immediately, the legal information official website said.
"To accept the proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation on the reorganization of the federal state unitary enterprise National Fish Resources (Moscow) in the form of the merger with the federal state unitary enterprise Kaliningrad Sea Fishing Port,” the document reads.
It is noted that this was done "in order to further develop the Russian Federation fishery complex and strengthen the state's food security, preserve and effectively use the terminals of seaports intended for integrated servicing of fishing fleet vessels".
