Throughput of port Kavkaz up 40% to 35.78 mln t in 10M’17

In January-October 2017, port Kavkaz handled 35.78 mln t of cargo (+40%, year-on-year), Sergei Naumov, Acting Harbour Master of port Kavkaz, told IAA PortNews.

Off-harbour transshipment complex handled 11.624 mln t mln t of cargo (+25%, year-on-year).

Transshipment of grain grew 2.7 times to 11.177 mln t. Transshipment of oil products dropped by 8% to 10.349 mln t, LPG – by 30% to 97,000 t.

Exports from port Kavkaz grew by 90% to 699,000 t, imports – by 9% to 82,000 t, short-sea traffic – by 49% to 23.101 mln t.

Passenger turnover declined by 4% to 5,264,595 passengers.

Bunker sales at the port dropped by 30% to 277,000 t. 

The number of calls climbed by 5% to 24,602 calls.
