In January-October 2017, the port of Vyborg handled 1.24 mln t of cargo (+13%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo grew by 16% to 1.13 mln t including 526,900 t of coal and coke (+13%) and 405,800 t of mineral fertilizers (-10%).
Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo dropped by 49% to 17,000 t.
Transshipment of general cargo climbed by 14% to 66,300 t including 11,600 t of scrap metal (+55%) with packaged cargo also showing an increase.
In 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 1.38 mln t of cargo (-11%, year-on-year).
