STLC and Sovcomflot sign agreement on cooperation

PAO State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) and PAO Sovcomflot have signed an agreement on cooperation today, 6 December 2017, in the framework of the Transport Week 2017.  According to the press center of STLC, the document was signed by Sergey Khramagin, Director General of STLC, and Sergey Frank, President and CEO of Sovcomflot, in the presence of RF Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov.

The agreement provides for partnership and long-term mutually-beneficial and efficient cooperation between the companies with a focus on the development of domestic shipping, shipbuilding and seaborne transportation of Russia’s export cargo.

In September 2017, Sovcomflot, Rosneft, STLC and Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex signed a set of agreements that entail the construction of five Aframax tankers to enable export shipments of crude oil and oil products.

State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) is one of the leading companies in the Russian leasing market, a diversified leasing company being one of the top 5 leasing companies by volume of the leasing portfolio, an industry leader in the aircraft and water transport leasing sectors.
