Russian Navy oceanographic ship Yantar is visiting Buenos Aires port, says press center of RF Defence Ministry. The ship is to replenish her storages in the port and continue the operation.
This was stated by the Chief of the Russian Navy group Captain I rank Sergei Bashmakov.
The ship Yantar is involved in the operation to search for the San Juan submarine of the Argentinian Navy in the Atlantic Ocean.
In total, the Russian Navy specialists examined the sea bottom at the depth of 125-1,050 meters and launched the Pantera Plus system 12 times. They detected and examined four objects, which had been identified as two catching trawlers and two concrete blocks.
