    NCSP Group cargo turnover in 11M’17 down 2.4% Y-o-Y to 131 mln t

    NCSP Group reports that its consolidated cargo turnover for January-November 2017 totaled 131 386 thousand tons.

    At the close of November 2017 NCSP Group has set two records in grain transshipment:

    - The Group has reached an all times high of grain transshipment in a single month with 1 303 thousand tons of grain loaded in November 2017;

    - With 9 985 thousand tons of gain loaded in eleven months of 2017 the Group has broken by 10% the record of 9 074 thousand tons loaded in 2009.

    Transshipment of liquid cargo in January-November 2017 totaled 97 538 thousand tons, including 69 347 thousand tons of crude oil; 27 247 thousand tons or oil products; 568 thousand tons of UAN liquid fertilizer, and 376 thousand tons of seed oils.

    Transshipment of bulk cargo in eleven months of 2017 increased by 4 036 thousand tons or 35.6% year-on-year and reached 15 383 thousand tons.

    Gain volumes in the reporting period grew by 4 242 thousand tons or 74% year-on-year and reached 9 985 thousand tons.

    Transshipment of coal in January-November 2017 increased by 251 thousand tons or 15.6% year-on-year and comprised 1 859 thousand tons.

    Volumes or iron ore and ore concentrate, chemical cargo, and sugar in the reporting period totaled 2 408 thousand tons, 679 thousand tons, and 452 thousand tons respectively.

    Transshipment of general cargo in January-November 2017 totaled 12 662 thousand tons, including 10 937 thousand tons of ferrous metals and pig iron, 1 089 thousand tons of non-ferrous, 382 thousand tons of timber, and 254 thousand tons of perishable cargo. Volumes of non-ferrous metals increased by 56.5 thousand tons or 5.5% year-on-year.

    Group’s container traffic in the reporting period totaled 5 395 thousand tons or 536.4 thousand TEU, growing 12.1% year-on-year in tons and 23% year-on-year in TEU.

    Transshipment of other cargo in January-November 2017 totaled 407 thousand tons.
