“Zigh” shipbuilding and construction yard completes overhaul of the tanker “Islam Safarli”, which belongs to the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company.
The main engines, pumps, electric motors and other mechanisms were overhauled. Auxiliary engines are replaced with new ones. Adjustment of electrical equipment.
Along with this, general cleaning works were carried out in the tanker, including control and defect works on the hull of the vessel, welding of cargo spaces and ballast cisterns according to the defective act. The underwater and above-water part, as well as the deck of the vessel are painted.
In order to verify the quality of the works, the tanker was tested on the territory of the yard. After elimination of the identified gaps, the vessel will be put into operation.
The length of the tanker is 125.06 meters, the width is 16.63 meters, and the maximum speed is 11.3 knots. The vessel, which belongs to the shipping fleet of the Shipping Company, is operated during the transportation of liquid cargo.
