Rán Offshore expands its fleet with new flattop cargo barge

Last week Rán Offshore took delivery of a 400′ x 120′ x 25′ fully ballastable flattop cargo barge. The vessel will be renamed “RANBARGE 1”, the Company said in a news release.

The barge will be available in the North Sea from May/June 2018.

Rán Offshore, named after the Norse Sea Goddess Rán, was established in December 2014 and being operative from January 2015. Rán Offshore is centrally located in Trondheim. The Company's fleet of barges consists of modern Ultra Deck strength flattop North Sea barges. Rán Offshore has been operating a fleet of 4 barges for the last five years, after being responsible for the building process in China and the towage of the barges to the North Sea.
