Throughput of Russian seaports in 2017 grew by 9.0% to 786.97 mln t

In January-December 2017, Russian seaports handled 786.97 mln t of cargo (+9%, year-on-year) including 372.94 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+11.1 %) and 414.03 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+8.3%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).

Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 74.20 mln t (+ 49.1%) including 29.12 mln t of dry cargo (+9.5%) and 45.08 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+94.5 %).

Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 247.49 mln t (+4.6%) including 105.06 mln t of dry cargo (+17.1%) and 142.43 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-3.0%).

Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 269.54 mln t (+10.4%) including 118.43 mln t of dry cargo (+12.4%) and 151.11 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+8.9%).

Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 3.98 mln t (-34.1%) including 2.88 mln t of dry cargo (-9.8%) and 1.10 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-61.6%).

Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 191.76 mln t (+3.3%) including 117.46 mln t of dry cargo (+ 5.8%) and 74.30 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-0.3%).
