In January-December 2017, seaport Temryuk handled 3.66 mln t of cargo (+3%, year-on-year), port Harbour Master told IAA PortNews.
In the reported period transshipment of coal grew by 21.3% to 998,400 t, oil products by 1.8% to 520,400 t, grain – by 30.9% to 446,000 t, liquid chemicals – by 42% to 297,000 t , metal – 2.9 times to 277,800 t, LPG – by 14% to 160,100 t.
In January-December, exports increased by 29% to 2,666,100 t, imports – by 46% to 22,500 t while short-sea traffic dropped by 58% to 365,700 t.
The volume of bunkering decreased by 6% to 11,700 t.
1,158 ship calls were registered in 2017 (+5%, year-on-year).
Port Temryuk is located in the Temryuk Bau of the Sea of Azov. The port operates round-the-year and has 19 berths with a waterfront of 2,279.9 meters. The port’s cargo terminals can accept vessels with the draught of up to 4.6 m, length of up to 140 m, breadth of up to 17.5 m. Annual capacity of the port’s cargo terminals is 8.48 mln t.
