Grain transshipment via Russian ports showed highest growth in 2017 among other cargoes, followed by coal and coke

Transshipment of grain via the ports of the Russian Federation has demonstrated the highest growth due to the record-breaking harvest. Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) says it totaled 47.87 mln t (+34.7%).

The bulk of grain handled at Russian seaports was exported – 42.608 mln t (+29.5%, year-on-year).

Coal and coke transshipment showed the second highest growth – 13.4% to 154.47 mln t including 152.58 mln t of exports.
 
Oil transshipment in 2017 grew by 11.1%, year-on-year, to 253.22 mln t including 177.377 mln t of exports (+4.4%, year-on-year).
