In January-December 2017, the port of Vyborg handled 1.54 mln t of cargo (+12%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo grew by 15% to 1.41 mln t including 717,800 t of coal and coke (+17%) and 472,900 t of mineral fertilizers (-11%).
Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo dropped by 44% to 20,700 t.
Transshipment of general cargo climbed by 15% to 83,800 t including 15,600 t of scrap metal (+80%) with packaged cargo also showing a 5% increase.
In 2016, the port of Vyborg handled 1.38 mln t of cargo (-11%, year-on-year).
