Documentation for maintenance dredging at Kavkaz and Taman ports obtains state environmental approval (photo)
On 12 February 2018, FSUE Rosmorport obtained state environmental approval for the documentation under the project on maintenance dredging at Kavkaz and Taman ports, says the company.
The project documentation has been acknowledged to comply with environmental requirements set forth by environmental laws and regulations.
The project on maintenance dredging at Kavkaz seaport in 2017-2027 provides for excavation of 196,150 cbm per year in order to maintain design depth at the area of 345,945 sq. m in the water area of the port and the Azov-Black Sea canal.
The project on maintenance dredging at Taman seaport in 2017-2027 provides for excavation of 114,000 cbm per year at the area of 1,079,572.89 sq. m at the approach canal of Taman oil terminal and Taman LPG base as well as in the open water area of Taman port’s Berth No 5, 6.
