Port of Kavkaz sees a 50% spike in freight volumes, to 1.98 million tonnes

Monthly volume of freight handled at Port of Kavkaz in January totaled 1 989 000 tonnes, which is 50% more compared to Jan 2016, the PortNews regional correspondent reports citing the Kavkaz Harbourmaster Sergei Naumov.

In the reporting period the Port of Kavkaz terminal stevedoring companies handled 435 000 tonnes of export cargo at the port offshore transshipment location. The volume represents a 32% growth on January 2017.
