In January 2018, the port of Vyborg handled 108,300 tonnes of cargo (+36%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo grew by 42% to 101,900 tonnes including 61,800 tonnes of coal and coke (considerable growth) and 40,100 tonnes of mineral fertilizers (-4%).
No liquid bulk cargo was transshipped in the reporting period.
Transshipment of general cargo dropped by 11% to 3,600 tonnes including 3,600 tonnes of packaged cargo (-11%).
In 2017, the port of Vyborg handled 1.54 million tonnes of cargo (+12%, year-on-year).
