Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the Executive Order On the Early Termination of the Authority of the Governor of Kemerovo Region, simultaneously appointing Sergei Tsivilyov as acting head of the region, says official website of the Kremlin.
In view of the announcement by the Governor of Kemerovo Region Aman Tuleyev that he has decided to resign from his post as Governor of Kemerovo Region, the President has resolved to accept Aman Tuleyev’s voluntary resignation and to appoint Sergei Tsivilyov Acting Governor of Kemerovo Region until a newly elected Governor is sworn in.
