In January-March 2018, Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port JSC handled 670,000 tonnes of cargo, up 2.5 times year-on-year (+155%).
According to the stevedoring company’s statistics, oil transshipment grew by 218% to over 500,000 tonnes. Transshipment of grain bound for Iran totaled 137,000 tonnes, almost 5 times as much as in QI’2017.
