RF Government has approved the plan on elimination of administrative barriers and legal restraints when implementing the roadmap of MariNet, working group of National Technological Initiative (NTI). The Decree dated 29 March 2018 (No 534-р) signed by RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is available at the official website of the Russian Government.
According to the statement, the activities focused on improvement of legislation and elimination of administrative barriers for implementation of NTI’s MariNet are aimed to improve competitiveness of Russian marine facilities, improve technical regulation, standardization and certification of marine facilities, implement technologies and develop international regulation in the maritime industry.
The plan is divided into phases covering a period between 2018 and 2035.
The Decree was drafted and submitted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in compliance with the Government’s Decree dated 29 September 2017 (No 1184) “On development and implementation of roadmaps for improvement of legislation and elimination of administrative barriers to ensure implementation of the National Technological Initiative and introduction of amendments into certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation”.
