Taganrog Sea Commercial Port’s investments in port infrastructure totaled USD 217,600 in QI’2018 (photo)
In the 1st quarter of 2018, Taganrog Sea Commercial Port (TSCP, a company of UCL Holding) invested USD 217,600 into the programme on the development of its port infrastructure.
The bulk of the amount was allocated for upgrading the port’s handling equipment. In the reporting period, the company purchased a HYUNDAI HL760-9S loader with a 4 cbm bucket intended for coal transshipment.
Besides, the company acquired a 5 cbm grain handling grab required for a SENNEBOGEN handling machine and a manipulator mechanism for steel coils that will let considerably improve safety, efficiency and quality of loading/unloading works.
In order to increase useful capacity of its facilities for accepting, accumulation and storing of dry bulk cargo the port has purchased protective structures of reinforces concrete.
Taganrog Sea Commercial Port JSC (TSCP, a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a key stevedoring company operating at the port of Taganrog. The company operates at the port’s Berths No 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8. In 2017, TSCP handled 1.59 million tonnes of cargo.
