Multipurpose Reloading Complex doubles its investments in development
In the first quarter of 2018, OOO Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) spent more than RUB 49 million for the development of its production facilities, which is twice as much as in the same period of the previous year.
MRC says more than 70% of that amount was paid for its new handling equipment, part of which was acquired by the company earlier. First of all, that equipment includes two LIEBHERR LH 40M material handlers and four LIEBHERR GM 20C grabs of 2.5 cbm each. Besides, the company made an advance payment for the works on modernization of its two Aist cranes.
The growth of investments was also driven by implementation of the front end engineering design under the project on expansion of the terminal capacity. Specifications for modernization of utilities are currently underway.
OOO Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC, a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region, specializing in unloading, storage and loading of exported and imported general and bulk cargoes. The main cargo is export power coal. In 2017, OOO MRC handled 5.5 mln t of cargo.
