Port of Singapore throughput in 4M’18 grew by 1.1% Y-o-Y to 207.78 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-February 2018, edged up 1.1% on the same period a year earlier, to 207.78 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
The two-month volume of oil products fell 6% to 74.08 million tonnes and non-oil bulk cargo volume dropped 7.2% to 5.66 million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 18.2% to 5.81 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in Southeast Asia. In 2017, Singapore handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
