Ships of RF Navy's Pacific Fleet sail off Thailand
The Pacific Fleet detachment composed of the major ASW ships Admiral Tributs, Admiral Vinogradov and middle sea tanker Pechenga completed its call to the port of Sattahip (Thailand), which started on 27 May, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During the visit, the detachment commander Captain 1 Rank Oleg Korolyov and accompanying officers paid a protocol visit to the commander of the Sattahip Main Naval Base. Moreover, Kirill Barsky, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, was solemnly received aboard the major ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov.
The servicemen of the Pacific Fleet and the Thai Navy held a friendly football match. Also, the Thai sailors organized an excursion for their Russian collegues aboard the light aircraft carrier Chakri Narubet of the Thai Navy.
The Pacific Fleet ships left Thailand and continued to fulfil the tasks of the distant cruise.
