RF Navy's Pacific Fleet to attend two international exercises in summer training season
This summer, the Pacific Fleet is to take part in two international exercises – the Joint Sea-2018 Russian-Chinese naval exercise and the Indra Navy-2018 Russian-Indian exercise, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
Besides, it is scheduled to hold a number of ship tactical drills, to attend the Naval Parade marking the Navy’s Day, and to take part in the Seaborne Assault contest of the International Army Games 2018 in the People’s Republic of China.
The Pacific Fleet held some 10 tactical exercises, more than 50 ship tactical drills and a number of staff trainings during the last training period. In total, 60 surface ships and submarines, more than 70 crews of Naval Air Force, formations of coastal forces and air defence were involved in the events.
The Fleet also held fire trainings of cruise and anti-aircraft missiles, launches of ASW missiles, with more than 200 artillery exercises.
