Throughput of Russian seaports in 5M’18 grew by 2.7% to 328.44 million tonnes
In January-May 2018, Russian seaports handled 328.44 million tonnes of cargo (+2.7%, year-on-year) including 156.35 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+9.0%) and 172.08 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-2.5%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 32.0 million tonnes (+ 9%) including 11.61 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+3%) and 20.38 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+ 13 %).
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 103.01 million tonnes (-1.5%) including 45.11 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+10%) and 57.89 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-9.1%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 110.87 million tonnes (+6.5%) including 48.8 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+16%) and 62.06 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-0.1%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 2.06 million tonnes (+47.3%) including 1.15 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+13%) and 0.915 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+138%).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 80.48 million tonnes (+0.2%) including 49.66 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+ 3%) and 30.82 ilt of liquid bulk cargo (-4.4%).
