Port of Singapore throughput in 5M’18 grew by 0.6% Y-o-Y to 260.89 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-May 2018, edged up 0.6% on the same period of 2017 to 260.89 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
The volume of oil products and non-oil bulk cargo dropped by 6.4%, 8.2%, accordingly, to 91.45 million and 7.05 million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 12.3% to 14.96 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in Southeast Asia. In 2017, the port handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
